Gospel Music: A Sound of Inspiration and Hope
Gospel music has always been more than a musical genre.
Its history is rooted in faith, perseverance, community, struggle, celebration and hope. Those qualities continue to make Gospel music relevant to new generations.
In Ireland, Gospel music has developed an increasingly diverse identity, bringing together Irish, African, Caribbean, American, European and other musical and cultural influences.
From choirs and churches to concert venues, festivals, radio, recording studios and independent artists, Gospel music continues to find new audiences across the island.
Gospelmusic.ie aims to provide a place where that growing story can be documented, celebrated and discovered.
